Sterility test is a qualitative test designed to detect the absence of viable microbial cells in a sterilized product. This method is based on the principle that a single microbial cell in the portion of the product transferred to the culture medium will grow geometrically provided that the conditions are optimal. Sterility analyzes are carried out within the scope of ISO 11737-2.
